By Car
If you're coming from the north, Lewes connects to the M25 / M23 and M26 motorways and is approximately 1 hour from London. From the west, you can enjoy a beautiful drive on the A27 / A272 and from the east using the A259 coast road or M20 / M26.
If you're still a bit confused, you could always download Navfree (the app that Craig works busily to promote around the world).
Parking is not particularly easy in Lewes, although by no means impossible. Here's a link to the parking information on the council's website.
By Train
Lewes is on a direct line from London Victoria, London Blackfriars and London Bridge and the journey is approximately 1 hour. The train station is very handily only a 10 minute walk from Southover Church.
If you book train tickets in advance, significant savings can be made!
By Plane
(From the Netherlands / other exotic places you might be coming from)
If you chose to fly into Gatwick Airport, there is a train direct to Lewes from the airport which only takes 32 minutes - how convenient is that!
Taxis
You may require a taxi after the Evening Bash, when the celebrations dwindle and it's time to head off to your temporary accommodation. Here are a few numbers for you:
